I’ve rounded up some of my favorite goodies to include in Eden’s stocking this year and wanted to share them all with you in case you needed some ideas. I’ve always loved Christmas, but now that I’m a mom and get to be the one to make the holidays special for her I get even more excited. This is going to be Eden’s first Christmas so she’s still young and won’t remember or understand what is going on. She’ll probably try to eat wrapping paper and only care about the boxes instead of the toys, but I still want to make her first Christmas as memorable as I can. When gifting for your child there is a method I go by and it makes gifting so much easier if you just follow these steps to avoid over buying or making unnecessary purchases. Buy according to what they want, need, wear, and read.
It’s no secret that kids love toys. I’m sure at the top of every kids Christmas list is some sort of toy to play with. Since Eden is only 10 months old and can’t ask for the type of toy she wants yet. I got her this adorable wooden rattle from Bannor Toys. All their toys are made with organic wood, paint, finish and are made right here in the U.S.A. Since she is teething like crazy and puts everything in her mouth this is definitely a plus for me. You can customize the shape, colors, and even have your child’s name engraved. This is the one I chose for her:
Since we moved to the East Coast I am beyond excited that we are going to have a white Christmas! White Christmas means there is going to be snow and lots of it so I will definitely have to bundle my little one up even when we are inside. I found these adorable and festive fleece Christmas pajamas from Carter’s. You can buy Carter’s pj’s for less than $10 from their website, Target, or even stores like Tj Maxx and Marshalls. This is a definite must for the winter.
If you are looking for the perfect holiday bow for your little girl, this is it. I bought this bow for Eden and absolutely love it! It’s hand tied and made with the softest velvet and has such a vibrant berry color so it is perfect to pair with any holiday outfit. These bows are flying off the shelf and since they are handmade there is limited stock. The next restock on these velvet bows is December 16th, just in time for Christmas. My advice is to follow @Free_Babes on Instagram to find out the time her shop is opening, set your alarm and log on right when the shop opens to make sure you snag one of these beauties because they will sell out fast. Eden is wearing this exact bow above so you can get an idea of how it looks on.
Since Eden can’t read yet, our story time mostly consists of me reading out loud and her not paying attention and crawling around the room. Sometimes if I’m lucky I can get her to look at the pictures for the whole story. I’ve never been much of a big ‘reader’ so I’m trying to start young with Eden so maybe she’ll grow up to love books. The Tallulah books are some of my favorite books for little girls so if you haven’t read them add them to your must read list!
This is the stocking I bought to stuff with all the goodies I listed above for Eden. It is on sale right now for only $19! I originally bought this kitty cat ornament for Eden’s Christmas tree but it was bigger than I expected, so I just tied it to the stocking as a charm. It is from Pottery Barn Kids but has unfortunately sold out.
There you have it, all the stocking stuffers I have for Eden. I’ve linked the products above in their title so if you click on it, it should take you directly to a website to purchase if you wish. I’m not getting paid for these reviews, these are just products I honestly love! If you have any questions on gifting I’d be happy to answer. Just leave your question below and I’ll get back to you A.S.A.P and Happy Shopping!
